Customs and Import Duties

International orders may incur customs duties or import taxes in the destination country. These charges are:

  • Levied by the destination country, not Custom Iron On Patches
  • Payable by the recipient at delivery or before customs release
  • Outside the supplier’s control

EU and US customers should expect customs charges on orders above local de minimis thresholds (typically £135 / €150 / $800 depending on destination). Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, handling fees or local taxes applied by the destination country.

Tracking

Rush Production

Rush production is available for time-critical orders. Rush production typically reduces standard lead time by 2-4 working days and is subject to:

  • Workshop capacity at the time of order
  • Patch type (PVC patches with new mould creation are harder to rush)
  • Order quantity (very large orders may not be rush-eligible)
  • Confirmation of rush availability before order placement

Rush production carries an additional cost, typically 15-25% premium on the standard order price. Confirm rush availability and exact premium at quote stage.

For genuinely time-critical orders (e.g. event the following week), contact the team before placing the order to confirm capacity. Rush production cannot be added retrospectively to orders already in standard production.

Dispatch and Cut-Off Times

Orders complete in production are dispatched the same working day, subject to cut-off times:

Production completed after the cut-off time dispatches the next working day. The cut-off time applies to production completion, not order placement, an order placed on a Monday with 7-day production lead time dispatches the following Wednesday.

For large orders requiring multiple cartons or specialist packaging, dispatch may be staggered across two working days. Customers receive a tracking number for each dispatch.

International delivery is charged on every order regardless of value due to international shipping cost variability.

Damaged or Lost in Transit

In rare cases where an order is damaged in transit or lost by the courier, Custom Iron On Patches handles the issue directly with the courier on behalf of the customer.

Damaged in Transit

If an order arrives with damaged packaging or damaged patches:

  3. The team raises a courier damage claim and arranges a remake at no charge
  4. The remake follows standard production lead time

Lost in Transit

  3. Once the courier confirms loss, a remake is arranged at no charge

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivers to UK PO Boxes. DPD Next Day does not deliver to PO Boxes, orders requiring DPD delivery need a physical street address.
